The Star Championship will be held in the German capital, Berlin. The event will be hosted by Mercedes Müller (Actress), Rick Okon (Actor) and Sonja Gerhardt (Actress and Singer) in the Velodrom – Berlin.
This special edition is a trial edition for a new contest format I am planning at the moment. Players will be abled to choose a region, either Europe West or Europe East. The players will have access to all, by The Star eligibility rules, songs from countries within their region. Each region has 8 available spots, making it 16 possible entries in total. The Top 3 of each region will advance to the Final Round, where they face off against each other to compete for the win. Participation is optional and players will only have to vote in their region Semifinal and the Final.
Players will represent themself, so under the flag of one of their nationalities, entry origin will be displayed as well. The Star language rules are not in place.
